Lower Coach Pitch:This is for players between 5-6 who have some experience, or are older players playing for the first time. The games are slightly longer, about an hour. Each player will get 5 pitches and if they do not get a hit, they will hit off the tee. There are no outs and we do not keep score. The goal is development.Age as of August 31 of the current year.
Upper Coach Pitch: Players between the ages of 7-9. In this division the player gets 7 pitches or 3 strikes. Outs are kept and each inning has a 5 run rule. The games have a 75 minute time limit. This league is primarily for 7 and 8 year olds. However, this is a good division for 9 year olds who are not ready for player pitch or are trying baseball for the first time. Also, some 6 year olds who are more advanced players will be better off in this division.Age as of August 31 of the current year.
Minor Division: Primarily 9-11 year olds. This is player pitch. Pitchers are removed if they hit 2 batters in 1 inning, or 3 total. Pitchers are limited to 2 innings per game. There is a 5 run rule per inning. Steals are allowed after the ball passes the batter. Each team is allowed to steal home once per inning. There will be a 12 game regular season with league playoffs the final week.Age as of August 31 of the current year.
Major Division: Primarily 10-12 year olds. This division is for the more advanced players. This year we will play by Little League rules which includes pitch counts.
